The XX Week of the Italian Language in the World took place from 19 to 25 October 2020 and was entitled "Italian between word and image: graffiti, illustrations, comics".
The Italian Embassy based in Doha participated in the event by organizing Italian language courses, seminars and offering multimedia contents shared online on its official profiles. As part of this initiative, six paintings were created, three of which represent Italian women and three Qatari women. With the images of the paintings, some gifs were also created, in which Italian women, as in a game, propose to Qatari women a few words of our language that are particularly well known in the world, such as "opera", "maestro" or "cinema".
